There were some construction problems with them and rather than fix them Kehoe ducked. The HOA hired an ambulance chasing attorney and his band of alarmist inspectors and obscenely overpriced contractors stirred the bees nest. They sued for $7 million and got $2.3 million. The average attorney fees on these deals is close to $2 million so the HOA now has repairs to make and very little money to make them. I bet they would have done better settling.
