A few weeks ago I asked about the practice of relisting properties here.
Nightline is looking for people who were tricked by the practice of relisting a property that has been on the market for longer than the seller's would like.
If you're interested in talking to them see this website, Did You Buy a Home That Had Been on the Market for a Longer Period of Time Than You'd Thought?

IF you're working with a buyer's agent I don't understand how this can happen to people. Buying a home is a major deal! Due you due diligence and find out as much about the property you can.
hey wormwood,
i agree, a good buyer's agent will know this info and bring it up. but it sounds like there are folks that still get tricked.
frankly i think it's a stupid practice that just hides poor marketing.
Where does the motivations of a buyer's agent lie? They want to get paid. They are not going to dissuade you from buying a home. If my wife says, "Oh, honey, this is exactly what we want. Let's make an offer!" Do you honestly think that the buyer's agent is going to say, "Whoa, wait a minute, I think you need to know something..."
